St Chad's Church runs many events throughout the year, both for Church members and the wider Community, for more information about the events below contact the Church Office.
 

Friday 5th Feb   -  1.30pm Funeral of Mary Davis

Monday  8th Feb - 3.30pm Funeral of Mabel Alice Pople

May God wrap His arms around the family and friends who are grieving the loss of these two ladies.

*  Tear Fund Sunday - March 7th  -  where we will have a guest speaker followed by a 'Hunger Lunch' of bread, cheese and apples.  Please do come and donate the money you would have spent on your Sunday Lunch to ' Tear Fund'.

We are revamping some of our premises so there will be some disruption to the information on the website - hopefully not for too long though. 

All these doors are to be replaced and ramps rebuilt where required.  We are spending over £30k on the refurbishment, 50% of which has been match funded by Almondsbury Charity, without whom we would not be able to undertake all this work.  A big thank you goes to the Almondsbury Charity from us all here at St Chad's.

The work has started in earnest and already the ceilings in the foyer, corridor and Ministers' room have been insulated and re-boarded.   They are all being plastered as we speak and the electrician will be in next week refitting lights.  It is already making a difference to the temperature of the building.

The office is the next to get the updated treatment.  Replacement window, ceiling insulation and new furniture.  We'll try to get some photos soon to keep you updated as to how it is all looking.

We will try not to let the work disrupt our normal events but until it is completed we are limited to what we can arrange so watch this space for the future!
