Keeping People Safe
At St Chad's we do everything we can to keep people safe when they use our buildings or take part in our groups or activities. We are committed to providing effective safeguarding processes to ensure the safety of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
Our Policy is to ensure that those who work with children, young people and vulnerable adults have an up-to-date Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check which is renewed every five years.
As an ecumenical church we follow the Methodist Church Safeguarding Policy but also comply with the Diocese of Bristol Safeguarding requirements.
St Chad's Safeguarding Policy can be seen in the Safeguarding Document in a separate folder.
