Hi, my name is Claire Jackson. I am married and have two young children, Rebekah and Hannah. Previous to working as a Community and Church Outreach worker, I have had quite a varied work background including teaching and youth work. I studied at Trinity college in Mission and Theology too. In particular, I worked for several years as an Outdoor Instructor. I worked in a Christian Community called Lee Abbey, where I taught teambuilding, climbing, orienteering and spiritual enrichment to church, youth and corporate groups. I am hoping to be able to use my outdoor skills once more in this new role in the local schools.
My new role encompasses a range of outreach work including Messy Church, Jumping Beans, life group development, fundraising, schools work, mental health support and building relationships with secular organisations in the area. I am hoping to build a new worshipping community on the Charlton Hayes estate too.
I look forward to getting to know you more over the next couple of years and I look forward to building authentic relationships on the Charlton Hayes estate and to bring the good news that Jesus loves everyone, whoever you are and whatever you do.
